Garden Journal Gallery

My Garden Journal quilts are my most personal quilts. They are the story of my relationship with my thirty-year-old garden. I collected bushels of flowers, leaves, seedpods, and stems. I spent weeks creating hundreds of yards of fabric with the pressed images. Then I combined the fabric pieces that shared a language of color, value, and subject. Or, with some, I left the whole cloth alone, as its story was fully contained within the textile.
