Welcome to Lauren Strach Art

I came to art late in life, in my mid-forties, and what I once considered a hobby has become an all-consuming passion.

I am a Fiber Artist, a Master Gardener, and a Writer. My perspective in each of these areas builds upon my experiences in the others. I create art quilts about nature, and I write about creating. I gather my inspiration in the garden, the mountains, and at the ocean. In my quilt designs and in my words, I give voice to what I glean from my senses.
